Awesome bike and walking path

We walked many miles on this very picturesque, wide, level, flat bike trail with our dog. Plenty of water in the crystal clear lakes for our puppy to quench her thirst!

This trail is very well maintained and level. It could be suitable in parts even for someone in a wheelchair or with a stroller. There are a few places where you need to get any vehicle over one track - they are usually banked or with wooden platform (for bikers). There are parking areas along the trail (Albee Beach, for... This is a beautiful trail but unfortunately dangerous in spots crossing over the tracks. I recently was riding along on a gorgeous day and my back wheel slipped out from under me as I crossed over the rail tracks and crashed to the ground. I was lucky to just have skinned knees and a sore hand but someone is going... More

Walked from Silver Street to Albee Beach with a five year old, one year old and a 3 month old. It's just over 3 miles we walked and the stroller had no issues. Quiet, clean and beautiful. Stunning views of the lake, highly recommended walking/biking trail.

We didn't get too far before we turned around, but we enjoyed the short time we were on it. We were surprised that the rail road tracked hadn't been pulled on the section that we walked. There is plenty of parking behind the railroad depot.

Nice shady path to take a walk on, right in town. Interesting history along the way. We left from the railroad station in town but there are many places to access the trail for a shorter or longer walk.

We rode our bikes on the 6-mile path starting from the Wolfeboro train station. The path is very well maintained and perfect for all levels of bike riders. Easy terrain. Gravel paths. Nicely shaded.

This is a fabulous trail for walking or running. The rails can be a hazard especially when wet. I ride all the time and fell twice. Shame because it is really a pretty trail.

This was a pleasant way to get to Wolfeboro center with our dogs. Wide trail by water. Scenic and a much safer way to travel to town without all of the car traffic.

It's hard to describe in words how gorgeous this trail is! There is obviously a team of folks who maintain this trail, as it is pristine (aside from a bit of spray-painted graffiti on rocks, shame on the scumbags who did that). There is no litter and the foliage is kept trimmed so that it is like walking in a... More
