Although, this is a man made attraction in the heart of nature's beauty. It was still breathtaking. The views are all nature, and so are the caves! I was challenged to take the Lemon Squeeze~ what a blast to do with your kids, and impress...More

What business posts their closing time as 5:00, but stops selling tickets at 4:00??? Lost River does. It’s frustrating to look at closing times on both Google and Trip Advisor as 5:00 and get there at 4:10 to be told the trail is closed. Ridiculous!...More

This is a must in October 2018. The colors of The White Mountains have popped and the surrounds are just beautiful. The drive to the attraction is 'wow' at this time of year. The Lost River Gorge waterfall is now flowing after all the rain...More

A fantastic boardwalk along the entire hour long walk. Plenty of nature to admire including several interesting trees clinging on to rocks. The gift shop was wonderful!

No you do not have to explore the caves. There is a wooden platform that follows the trail. The loop is approximately 0.6 miles long. We spent about 2 hours exploring the trail. Wear comfortable shoes/sneakers.
