As everyone else points out, it is amazing that the top of this park has a view of the NYC skyline at a distance. The paths can be a little steep, so be careful on your way down because the rocks are all extremely loose...More

I have been visiting this park in numerous different capacities for decades. It is always neat and clean and a great place to relax or exercises. Nice View once you get to the top. I would recommend a visit.

They have many trails but the best is the 1 mile walk up and down to the "top of the Tourne" where you'll find picnic tables a 9/11 memorial and a great view of the NYC skyline on a clear day.

You can walk a half mile or 6 miles on a mix of dirt and semi maintained roads. We use the yellow trail and red trail to make a look that is about 4.5 miles for a nice early morning weekend walk with some elevation...More

There's a bunch of good hiking trails in the Tourne and most are relatively easy. In recent years, they've re-worked the steeper hills into much flatter switchbacks. Mountain bikers have an easier time on the trail now, so be prepared if hiking to get out...More
