Great place for everyone. Families, nature lovers. So many trails (including the Appalachian Trail) to explore. Swimming and picnic areas. No entry fee aff season (before Memorial Day, after Labor Day)

I've been to other parts of Stokes State Forest before, but I just discovered peaceful, beautiful Lake Ocquittunk. Great for picnics, nature photography, bird watching. There are campsites and cabins for overnight stays. A true gem in the heart of Sussex County.

Don’t think so. I live a half hour from Dtokes and no, definitely not even close to peak here.
