My daughter, who's 14, went to the aquarium because she really wanted to see the hippos and sharks. It is a cool aquarium but the exhibits are geared more toward younger kids and preteens. They have the typical stingray and starfish exhibits where you can touch, fish, etc. It did get extremely crowded around 11am with mostly little kids running... More

Kids had off day at school and we decided to go there. We visit aquarium once or twice each year. It is small place, but has nice fish. Has interesting bridge across shark pool. In a morning it is not a lot of people there, but in couple hours had big line. At the end they are slow down if... More

Took my 3.5 and 5 month yr old nieces and they LOVED it. We had a great time and the staff was very friendly and the exhibits were well maintained. The hippos were so cute and a highlight of the trip. We will be back.

I visited the aquarium on a Sunday morning while on vacation in Philly. At over $25 each I was expecting something pretty special. I've visited numerous aquariums around the world including Ripley's in Toronto and this was without doubt the most expensive. The place was crowded and I lost count of how many families were there blocking attractions with pushchairs... More

The aquarium has something for all ages. We went for our 16 month old granddaughter but the grown ups loved it too. So many species of fish plus penguins. We were able to touch stingrays, starfish and a few different types of fish. We also took the shark walk, a suspended area over the shark tank (must be 5 years... More

I attended a meeting at the aquarum auditorium and it was a very unique and pleasant experience meeting amongst the sharks that swam by.

Its a little costly to get in. Don't forget the $10 to park. Assortment of fish, frogs, turtles and penguins. Really loved the 2 Hippos in their tank at feeding time. There are also small learning displays during the day, there was a hedgehog, a turtle and a frog. Also a kids hands on area. You can touch a shark... More

I'm just kid at heart, wish I could say that I took kids with me but it's not true. Fantastic day watching the mermaids swim, hippos eat, and being frightened by the shark bridge. The touch tank was cold on my hands but totally worth it. Amazing tanks of jelly fish that glow beautiful colors. Great day!

I've been to Adventure Aquarium on several occasions and I have nothing but fond memories. The aquarium is just small enough to provide a few hours of entertainment, but not to overly-tire small children so as to make them cranky. I've never been to another aquarium with hippos. It is neat to watch them eat and swim! The exhibits are... More

We had gone on a Tuesday morning. There were hardly anyone there which was awesome. I've come on the weekend and the place is always a zoo. The touch tanks were empty of children to a point. I sat for an hour in the shark tunnel. I always wanted to do that, but its always so full. We braved the... More
