This lighthouse was open and we walked to the top, 192 steps, very do-able . The view from the top is spectacular it is all barred in so you will not fall off the top.

Lovely lighthouse! We would have loved to have spent more time soaking in the history, but our 18 month old daughter was just interested in going up, up, up!

First ever lighthouse I have been in and it was a fun visit. That is as fun as it could be to walk up the stairs and check out the view. You do learn a good amount of history on the adventure up there.

If your going to go, you may as well pay the $8 to climb to the top. Plus.....the money goes to help maintain this historic lighthouse!!!!! The views are well worth it! The worker at the top was friendly and informative!

This is one of my favorite lighthouses! It's beautiful and stately, presiding over the Jersey cape. There is a quaint little museum loaded with artifacts from the land and sea, free of charge. Also a bird sanctuary and lovely board walkways and pavilions. The beach...More
