This beach is just south of Cape may and easily thought of as part of Cape May, which really it is. An absolutely great place to watch the sunset, lay about lazily and relax. Or take a long stroll over to Cape May Point, which...More

Nice to find a nice quiet beach. It had nice sand. It was cool just to relax on the beach and listen to waves. Poverty Beach is great for walking and just relaxing!

Poverty Beach is the furthest away from the center of a Cape May which makes it less crowded but still beautiful and clean! It is easier to find parking spaces.

My boyfriend and I walked the boardwalk from the Cape May Convention Center to Poverty Beach. The view of the lighthouse was beautiful. The beach was empty and the waves were calm. Poverty Beach is great for walking and just relaxing!

Less hectic, lovely beach at the end of Cape May... good for couples. No access to food, drinks, etc. Free parking in many places.
