This is a nice way to spend about an hour on a nice afternoon. The Cape May Fire Department put this museum together with some of their old equipment and dedications to firemen of past. There is an old fire engine, pictures of the big...More

Every time I see this old engine, I want to touch it, but it's verboten. I'm guessing there are only a handful of people who know how to drive it for parades. It's beautiful. So is the rest of the museum. Chuck a few bucks...More

It's a small display, but it's worth a quick stop. The antique fire engine is out for refurbishment at the moment, but that will be a bonus when it returns.

I took my grandkids 2 years in a row, but the fire engine was out on loan to some other city. We will try again to see the restored fire engine next time we go to Cape May.

We went bc we saw online it was a great little place to take kids, was a little disappointed the old truck wasn’t there. Other than that it was a neat little place to see the old fire equipment.

A beautiful min-imuseum. The truck is worth the stop and the other historical fire items draw your attention. Good for firefighters, civilians, and children. It's just open to see. Check out the fire station for a t-shirt!

This is just a wonderful example of American Fireman history. You'll learn things you've never known about firefighting and quite frankly, it's sad to hear home many of the beautiful homes burned to the ground prior to its implementation.

As we were walking back from the Washing Inn we stopped in. It was very interesting to see a lot of the old fire equipment. There are patches from Fire Departments from all over the Country. If you have one from your town, I am...More

We enjoyed reading the history of Cape May Fire Department and would recommend stopping if you are walking by. No need for a special trip but worth the stop if you are nearby.
