Mick's as always was well organized, and able. The Wading River was like 5 o'clock traffic on the Vine Street Expressway but we can't hold them responsible for that issue.

My husband and I have gone so many times. Well worth the trip, even with a 10 minute downpour. The price is right. Not expensive at all. They drop you off and pick you up at the end of your trip. Plenty of beach areas to sit and relax, take a swim, or eat lunch. The beginning is usually a... More

The team here was extremely flexible and very friendly. The entire process from walking into the store until our canoe was in the water was less than half an hour, but that might have been because we came on a Wednesday, I can imagine the weekends are busy.

Excellent day with family canoeing the Wading Creek. Teenagers endured for the three hour tour (stopped for a picnic lunch, too!) without complaints! Water was clean and beautiful but wear dark colors as the iron will discolor most cottons. People at Mick's were very friendly and shuttles ran on schedule.

Always a great day with Micks. They are very accomudating. The wading is beautiful to travel down and they offer a few different trips. Come early if you want quiet tranquil paddling .

This place is awesome. They are clear with directions and make things easy. There are bathrooms, an outdoor shower, and changing rooms on site. Picnic tables make it easy to get your gear together as you get ready to depart. My husband and I had never used a canoe before (I have kayaked) and it was a great 3 hour... More

What a awesome day! Took the clerks word on how far to go this trip due to the low water level! She was right on the money. So easy to transport your personal boat with a small fee. Bus drivers are fun and easy to talk to. You may never know how beautiful the pine Barron's are until you see... More

We took a four hour trip down the Oswego River, and while it was more difficult than the Wading River, it was worth the effort. The water ran fast and there was plenty to see along the way. The young blonde woman at the desk made sure we knew how to go from lake to lake, and her instructions were... More

I spent a beautiful day kayaking on the Wading River thanks to Mick's! Check in, drop off, and pick up were all handled efficiently. At $55 for a double kayak, the price was cheap for an entire days entertainment. The Pine Barrens are stunningly beautiful. Do yourself a favor and let the rest of the group pass by, then glide... I have lived in NJ my whole life, and sometimes I forget the simple beauty of it. I had some extra money so I decided spur of the moment to take my kids. Fortunately my sons friend and her father joined us. We chose Micks. The parking was easy, the process of getting our canoes was streamline. Life jackets included.... More
