The perfect day trip! Grounds For Sculpture (GFS), located in Hamilton, New Jersey (midway between Philadelphia and New York), is a forty-two acre not-for-profit sculpture park and arboretum founded by Seward Johnson. Its collection features more than 270 contemporary sculptures by renowned and emerging artists. Exhibitions change seasonally in five indoor galleries. With rich educational offerings, a robust schedule of performing arts, and fun family events, the park is open year-round. Shopping and dining options complement every visit. Truly an experience as not only are there gigantic and intriguing sculptures, but life size people worthy of picture galore. One of my favorite places on earth just to get away, enjoy the vistas, paths, lake and creativity. Something you will not forget.

Make sure you have comfortable shoes you will be walking outside for 3+ hours being impressed by these sculpture surrounded by flower, trees, rocks and streams. Great place for taking some vial occasion photos. You will see a few wedding parties. Beautiful peacocks roam freely...More

Grounds for Sculpture is a fair exposure to the arts. There are many sculptures to view but sadly, there was no background info on the pieces on display. The plaques had the Piece Name and Artist but no information on the piece itself. Too bad....More

This place was very surprising! Nice outside area with so many great sculptures and art .... we didn’t even pay to visit the inside museum and I still think we didn’t see everything outside!
