Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As a native New Yorker I still get the very big vibe every time I see our skyline.
Whenever I’m visiting Hoboken I always take the walk back vis the walkway. It’s a feel good for sure!

The river front walking path created for walkers and joggers is an outstanding place to spend time walking and jogging with magnificent view of Manhattan sky scrapers. The intermittent view of the jetties, the ferry ships and party ships is an added attraction. If one is interested, can take a cruise over the river Hudson for about an hour and half and more. In Conclusion the walking path is a fantastic place for walking and jogging.

Always nice to be able to see great views, be near the water, and have a few options of activities. There is a park area so you can picnic or just sit, restaurants to eat at, and a nice walkway to stroll down. Went here on a date, and it was wonderful for all those reasons. Saw some ducks too. Bring a sweater in warmer weather, since it of course gets a bit chilly due to being so close to the water.

Located on the western shore of the Hudson River in Hoboken, the Hoboken Waterfront Walkway runs from the tip of Bayonne to the George Washington Bridge. All along the waterfront walkway there are photographic views of the Manhattan Skyline, day or night. The paved walkway is wide allowing joggers, walkers and bikers to maintain social distancing.
Along the way there are fenced in bog parks, children's play areas, access beaches to the Hudson river, ramps for wheelchair access, marinas and piers for ferries into Manhattan. Much of the walkway is tree lined and all of the walkway is pedestrian friendly. There parking garages a block from the river but they are pricy by most peoples standards. Some parts of the walkway have free non-metered street parking which is hit or miss.
Lots of dining options are available 1 or 2 blocks up from the riverfront on Washington Street. Cowabunga Coffee Roasters is located right on the riverfront with Starbucks a block in. I had a few drinks at the Madison which is 2 blocks in on Washington Street.

Throughout a Saturday in July, I walked with two (2) friends along the Hoboken waterfront. There were many pedestrians and bicyclists. Also, there were many places to sit down and admire the views of Manhattan. This area was safe and well-maintained. The train station was also right next to this long walkway.

It was a great walk after some drinks and food. Loved how everyone is doing their own thing. I saw bachata classes, a social distance party and lots of love and friendship going on. Definitely recommend this park to anyone.

Amazing view of the city. I love to go to Hoboken, there are always a lot of things to do, tons of little shops as bakeries and delis. I enjoy going for a walk and just sit there and watch the view of Manhattan. A nice and well spend afternoon

Went to Hoboken waterfront not knowing what to expect. It was the nicest place we visited in the Jersey city area. Amazing views of New York City, lovely walk and good market stalls and shops. Easy public transport options.

Hoboken waterfront walkway is beautifully built along the river side. You can enjoy the NYC skyline view from waterfront. You can get best view in the evening. Good place for skyline photography of NYC

I don't think that is a problem....we walked mid day.

Hi
It depends what you want to do. I think in total start to finish about 11 miles. We walked from Hoboken Pier 14 to Liberty State Park, you need to get a very short ferry ride to do the last bit. It was about 5 miles great views of Manhattan. Make sure sure detour of the shore path in Hoboken to get a cake in Carlos Bakery.
Hudson River front org is a good website, I cannot put a weblink on here but you can get the drift

Hi, if you go from Jersey City, all the way to Hoboken it can take about 40min! Amazing, beautiful walk, with breathtaking view of NYC! Worth every second!

Can I ride my ninebot one there?
Written 4 February 2017
I would do it and see what happens but check the posted rules for the park first to see if it prohibited. Another thought, go when it isn't busy.

Is this park 24/7? Some places it's mentioned 24/7 and some say it closes at 4PM? How can it be accessed after hours?
Written 25 November 2016
I don't recall seeing any signs, however unless you are with a group safety first. Usually there are closing times.

How far of a walk from path train
Written 4 October 2016
Around half a mile. You can see the waterfront as you exit the station. Its by far the best way to explore the area and the wide variety of restaurants nearby.

Parking in a city is always an issue. Visitors can park on one side of the street so you need to read signs carefully. To park free park on the west side of town and there are usually many open spaces. This will leave you a six or seven block walk. Alternatively there are a number of garages and metered parking near the water front
