ACME Screening Room is a non-profit organization, and an important institution in the Delaware River Towns/Bucks County Community. Local courtroom by day, movie theatre by night, Acme offers great, often inventive programming, including “art house” films, independent films without major distribution, locally produced films, and...More

The ACME Screening Room screens a wide range of thought-provoking, provocative films -- including a generous helping of foreign flicks, documentaries, and short films -- in the heart of the bucolic Lambertville, N.J./New Hope, Pa., arts community. Of particular interest are the visiting artist events...More

Thanks for your review. It tells us we are reaching our goal to bring great, and varied programming to this area, stuff you wont see at chain theaters. See you at the movies!

The Acme Screening Room shows interesting, mostly low budget, under the radar movies every weekend. We have seen many films there that we loved. Frequently, they will have the filmmaker or director present for a Q & A about the film, it's subject matter etc....More

The Acme shows some wonderful documentaries and there are lots of wonderful restaurants in the area. I just wish the Acme had more comfortable chairs.
