You are not allowed to swim anywhere in this area. Only one very small life guard area and you must pay to access. If you see people swimming in other areas here please call the police as they did to me :)

Easy trails alongside a picturesque reservoir. Remember to use your tick spray since it is heavily wooded. Pretty every season of the year. Great place to walk the dogs, but please, please, please remember that it is carry in/carry out. Bring your doggie bags.

Round Valley offers so much for outdoor fun--fishing, swimming, sailing (no speed boats), kayaking, canoeing, hiking, picnicking, and a great place to walk your dog. They even do scuba diving in the lake as it is very deep.

I do live about 1 mile from the reservoir, and there is a reason. I really enjoy the crystal clear water in the reservoir and the hiking trails that lead you through the Cushetunk Mountains. Fishing is a bit tough from shore. The level of...More

The best thing about Round Valley is the 360 degree view at the top of the hill. There are very few places you can go in NJ and see such a nice pleasant unobstructed 360 degree full view like this. Avoid the entrance fee by...More

Great park. Well maintained trails for hiking and birding. It has a beach and large picnic area. The people who use it need to clean up their garbage, pick up after their dogs, and work on being nice and polite. The area and amenities are...More

Round Valley is beautiful and I love going. This is my go-to place when Spruce Run is not open for swimming. The beach area is on a part of the lake that isn't as scenic and open like the other portions, but the big benefit...More
