For us it is now mainly a produce farm. Coronatimes had an impact on their operations like on other businesses. In the past we would visit during apple picking season. We like their fresh locally grown produce and bakery goods. Their u-pick orchards are especially popular with the visitors. Nowadays you have to make appointments on line for particular time slots. We are planning to go again mid -August for the sunflower opening.

There are lots of reasons to come to Hill Creek Farm...you could go apple picking, participate in a variety of the activities they have around the farm, or just have a meal. We went for lunch on a Saturday and they were packed. You order your food at a counter and then find a table and they bring your food out when it’s ready. I wasn’t expecting much being that we were at a farm but the food was phenomenal! They had a person there doing a wine tasting and also had a nice store to shop in when we were done with lunch. I would go back!

My wife and I made a reservation for their farm to plate Friday event. We were supposed to be seated at 7pm. No one was there! Not only did we not get a call about a postponement, but when we called their number while there, we got no answer. Very dissapointing. We had looked forward to the event all week. All in all, not special at all... lots of farm, but no plates.

In the beginning of 2018, Hillcreek Farms and Rastellis Market teamed up. It was amazing.. Rastellis brought in all their fresh foods, bakery, custom coffee, and smoothies, grocerys. the restaurant upstairs was serving great food! Wine and cheese platters made fresh to sit and enjoy. And then Rastellis left at the end of the year.. and it’s back to the same old empty shelves, stale bakery, dusty old apple butter jellies, and blah blah relish and garbage salsa.. that no one buys and that I’ve seen for years.. the hours are terrible.. open late close early.. closed on Monday and whatever else.. literally I probably spent 2 days a week last year over there buying food and groceries to cook.. this year I went in there once.. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME..
