Arena is very nice and relatively new. Parking in the area is limited and expensive. I recommend taking the train to Newark penn station, which is a 10 min walk to arena. Surroundings are sketchy.

This is a great place to see a concert. The view is not bad from the nosebleed section. For us, the act must be great for us to leave NY to go to Newark.

We were here two weeks in a row. First week was easy in and out. Not our favorite venue but will do if it someone we must see.
