Another hidden gem in Paterson, NJ. We stopped here for a quick tour of the castle. It's only $5 per person to tour the Castle Museum. From the top floor you can look out the windows and see NYC in the distance. Loved it!

Not able to tour (closed when we stopped) but the grounds and outside the castle were great! Wish we could have gone back to do the inside tour.

Has a great view of Paterson. When Paterson was The Silk City, the owner could l[k down the Passaic River to watch his raw materials arrive. Now the Historical Society is there, art show, Revolutionary War displays from time to time, and Christmas holiday displays....More

The castle is gorgeous is they have done many improvements to the castle. The view is amazing and the grounds are beautiful.

This place is amazing. Great views and great for picture taking. I had my wedding ceremony there in Oct 2014. Had it in the court yard by the fountain. Been back a few times since.

From the outside the castle is not that spectacular.nhowever, inside it is very interesting to learn about Paterson's history and tour the various rooms within the castle that still contain the original furnishings. 3/4 hour is plenty of time for a full tour. The cost...More

October-Mid December: Museum Closed for Holiday Boutique The Museum is closed New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
