Unique, very special store with incredible range. You can buy an inexpensive Princeton U souvenir, or a designer handwoven cotton coat, or a classic Austrian loden coat or cape and more. It is always worth going into this store for whatever wonderful find they might have found somewhere. Reason enough to go to Princeton; if you are Princeton, whenever you are in Princeton, it's a must visit.

If you are in Princeton, you have to visit this place. it is basically a clothes shop for college students, but it has a small Einstein museum in the back of the shop, which is apparently the only true Einstein museum around. It is fun to visit and the clothes are also reasonably priced so also worth having a look.

About thirty years ago,on a visit to Princeton, I walked into Landau’s for the first time. I was amazed by their incredible selection of woolen hats and gloves and I purchased a sheepskin winter hat that kept me warm in blizzards and bitter wintery weather. What absolutely astonished me was in the very back of their store, there existed a museum honoring Albert Einstein! It isn’t large, in fact it is oddly small with photos and some information about his life as well as some posters and gifts that you could say are “ Einstein Memorabilia”. I’ve returned many times and was there this past weekend when I purchased a warm cashmere sweater that was on sale at a fantastic price. Over the years I’ve ordered friends warm hats and other gifts since this is truly a very unique store.

I stumbled upon this shop just next door to the official Princeton store to buy a cheaper Tshirt than the 25+$ at the store. The owners are the nicest people around. They are very helpful and always available. The store also have a lot of Einstein memorabilia and authentic Irish wool scarves and blankets. After purchasing a tshirt the owner threw in a badge and some stickers. Love this place!

I was born, raised and spent most of my adult life in Princeton. During this time, many uptown , family run local shops , have gone the way of the dinosaur . But Landau's survives. They offer Princeton souvenirs , you can not find else were. From Einstein quotes on t's , to great wool scarfs.(There always seems to be a sale on. ) With lower prices then U store, next store. Mr. Landau is an friendly, "animated" at times owner. The rest of the staff is pleasant and always ready to help . Without invading your space. Landau's will also costume print your tee shirt
