While the show was about 3 hrs., it is a joy to see these young performers singing, playing all kinds of instruments and sounding like professionals! The Academy has several shows a year at the Count Basie and I suggest even if you do not...More

Beautiful theater in in a wonderful town! There is no bad seat in the house except the last few rows. The renovations are gorgeous and comfortable. They also have various memberships which I find quite valuable, especially access to the Carlton Lounge. But there are...More

Here you can see Broadway quality plays. See great performers, music, comedy, dance. It's a place for the arts. It's a historic building that has been revitalized.

Our local favorite: great sound and bar available! The attendants are really nice and there’s not a bad seat in the house. The Basie gets a great variety of music, comedy and shows.

My daughter and I took her 3-year old dauhgter to see the show. The cast was very good and the seats were comfortable. I always thought the Daniel Tiger television show was great for young children. They do get to an age were they start...More

I don't think you will have trouble seeing, but sitting that close to the stage puts you close to the speakers. Those can be rather loud at times.
