Where will you spend your summer days? …In the natural surroundings of the mountains?...On the beach?...Poolside? Well how about all three! Mountain Creek's Waterpark awaits, with over 2 dozen unique rides, slides and pools set in the mountains of Vernon, New Jersey, just 47 miles from NY City. Experience the thrills of 1,600 feet of pure whitewater adrenaline on the infamous Colorado River Ride, the largest water ride in the region. Leap from the Canyon Cliff into endless blue water, or rocket down Thunder Run or The Gualey, the most supercharged whitewater tube rides you've seen! Drop 40 feet on our Vertigo and Vortex tube speed coasters...in the dark! Plummet 99 feet in just seconds on the H2Oh-No! speed slide. Swing into action on the Tarzan Swings, or race through the dark and shoot out 10 feet above the water on the daring Cannonball. High Anxiety begins with a 5 story drop before accelerating riders into the immense funnel that propels you to panic-inducing heights and a momentary Zero-G experience. It's the shore without the jelly fish! The Hightide Wavepool is one of the largest pools of it's kind, sculpting over 450,000 gallons of water into perfect sets of waves every 10 minutes! Kids World offers more than enough fun to keep the kids happy all summer long. Have a blast in The Spraygrounds, relax in the Lost Island River, zoom down The Hook, or play on our multilevel interactive water play fort, complete with water slides, spray cannons, water hoses, and a 'fishy' shower!

LOVED this water park! The rides are so much fun, and I could go on all of them over and over again (well except for the 99 foot slide!) I absolutely loved the Colorado River... read more

Parking - get ready to carry your kids and bags for 30 min from parking to water park. Food - you may not bring your own, so prepare to stay hungry or with stomach problems, food is uneatable and way overpriced. Cabanas - total waste of money! We had most wonderful Cabana experience at Hershey Park, that is why we... More

I agree with some of the other bad reviews. It was very difficult to get around this park. Very steep hills from ride to ride plus for many rides you had to carry your own tube up the steep hills. The food there was not only terribly expensive but also shamefully bad. A cheeseburger was $8.99 and tasted like super... More

Today was the first time I have ever been to Mountain Creek Water Park and without a doubt it will be my last. We were given free passes and it was still a complete waste. You could not pay me to go back. $30 if want to park on the same side of the road as the park, $10 if... More

My kids really enjoy this park. It is not a large park, but it has some fun rides and there are enough of them to keep them busy for the day. Most of the rides are built into the landscape, which makes this a unique park. The park is a bit hilly, so be prepared to get a work out.... More

Rides are thrilling, go on a weekday to avoid weekend crowds, the wave pool is amazing, like being at the beach, very hilly, will be tough for grandparents to walk around, some guests cut in lines, overall a very nice time, though. Kids loved it.

From the room, to the view to the pool (very well maintained) to the staff both Dennin Schmidt and John were wonderful in helping our stay be more pleasant. My family and I only stayed one night and it felt like we to on a plane and traveled to a resort. We are looking to go back in September for... More

I visited this park on a Friday in July. We arrived at 10:30am when they opened and it was not very crowded. My 70 year old mother also came along and although there was a decent walk from the parking lot to the attraction it was doable. Don't forget to get coupons from McDonalds. $5.00 of per person! Yes, there... More

The park is not handicapped friendly, I would not recommend this park to handicapped people. You have to be a real mountain climber in order to enjoy your self in this park.
