Too few tram cars run at peak evening hours. Several will pass and not stop, too full (no attempt to fit people in). Traveling with younger child who as we waited THIRTY MINUTES trying to flag down either one of the two tram cars who...More

stopping when you pull the rope, the ride home or from the boardwalk can be a real delight. We've found the drivers to be gems... happy, knowledgeable.... The trolleys run their route FREQUENTLY during 'the season' so the wait is rarely more than minutes.

After going to Wildwood for a week and you get back home you can still hear the words "watch the tram car please " in your head. It wouldn't be Wildwood without those words.

A day of wandering the Boardwalk can wear you out, especially when you don't pay attention and your one-way travels take you from Wildwood Crest to North Wildwood. The trolley is salvation on wheels! It's also very, very handy. They will stop almost anywhere to...More
