Surprisingly disappointing

Every year I get my David Bradley chocolates for the holidays. The dark chocolate-covered graham crackers is my family's favorite. But something was different this year. They were clearly made with less chocolate. A real disappointment compared to years past.

Great chocolates!

It's a small shop...in a somewhat strange location...but well worth the trip! I was sort of in the area and heard their commercial on the radio, so decided to make a slight detour and visit the Windsor location. Lots and lots of Easter treats and very pleasant staff offering multiple tastings. I wasn't there long, but managed to try chocolate covered grapes (who knew?) and chocolate covered pineapple. Both were great as were the other items I bought. There's also a fair amount of sugar free chocolates. The prices were comparable to other places selling homemade chocolate (not factory discounts, although there is a section with reduced prices) and I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area!

Life is Like a Box of Chocolates

If you are gluten-free, you ain't gonna get nuttin' here. You will have to travel to the nearby Wegman's Supermarket to get your gluten-free chocs. If, however, you eat gluten, dairy, and nuts, and have about $50-75 to burn through, you have hit the jackpot. My guess is that during certain days of the week, you may look through the window and watch a part of the process of chocolate being made. This may be a good spot for buying a gift for someone who enjoys chocolate. Be prepared for sticker shock. $10-20 does not go a long way here. If you are traveling in an RV, you will have to park in an adjacent parking area.

Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate!

Chocolate heaven tucked away off the beaten path. Great selections and very friendly staff. The only reason I did not give five stars is because I was expecting factory prices at the factory store. This was not the case. I believe that their pricing is close to normal retail, not wholesale or below. It’s all still delicious though!

Stopped here driving home to Conn. from Virginia Beach.I have had these chocolates before in my home town but did not know about the tremendous selection offered there. Samples were delicious and plentiful. Wish I had bought more of the chocolate gummy bears.Could not stop eating them. Chocolate covered fruit was so refreshing and delicious. The lady helping us said she usually works in production so she was very helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to have a return visit!

You gotta go!

Way off the road, so follow signs. You won't find it any other way. Great chocolate at even better prices. I love the almond bark. Lots of almonds, not just a wad of chocolate with a hint of almonds.

A Chocolate Factory where they have a multitude of selections from Bacon Chocolate, to Various Fruits, nuts, etc etc etc,... They have free samples and I like to try the different selections.. But man, it is very expensive, when I do go (maybe twice a year), I have to buy something, (since I feel bad about eating the different samples) So I usually walk out with chocolate pretzels, a small bag about $7 .. I Told you.. but a an interesting place to visit..

My cousins brought me here for the first time. I was overwhelmed at the sight of so much chocolate! Wow! The staff circulated the shop with various and plenty of free samples and were pleased to answer your questions. They have other homemade candy and an assortment of sugar free. I bought chocolate crosses and the cashier thoughtfully bagged them separately from my other purchases to minimize the chance of breakage. I am not a chocolate fan but my family and friends are. I would definitely go back.

Horrible and nasty staff!
Jan 2018 • Family
Absolutely horrible experience! My daughter and I got some chocolate only to find out that “everything may be contaminated with bacon”!
So I called and was told to come in and return the items. As I did I came across some horrible, nasty women who had zero customer service. They rolled their eyes, threw the chocs in the trash with a loud bang and told me that there’s a DISCLAIMER up. THE SIGN ONLY which warns about nuts, gluten etc not meat!
Anyway, the lady there didn’t stop giving me trash until I left the door which I find ridiculous!
Long story short, all there chocs have pork running through so to all my vegetarians, kosher and halal eating peeps DO NOT GO THERE!
