About
The beaches around Jeffreys Bay are home to some of the most fun and spectacular dunes in South Africa. Sandboarding is very similar to snowboarding; it is fast, fun and easy to learn. Standding and sitting boards provided. Sand boarding trips are run daily weather permitting. not possible on wet dunes. Suitable for all ages, spectators welcome to join.

We decided at short notice to try Sandboarding and Wacky Wipeouts were a great company that made it happen! Tyron had great correspondence with us. Being winter it was quiet and we had the pleasure of just having the two of us being taught by Megan. A great instructor and full of energy. It was clear she was having as much fun as us! Completely different to snowboarding but similar concept. Be prepared to get sand in place you didn't think existed, and have more fun than you've had in a long time!

A gentle paddle around this large shallow lagoon revealed a wealth of bird life including flamingos and lots of fish jumping over the kayak. Paddling got harder as the wind got up on our return down the river. A lovely 2 hours in a peaceful setting.

Went with a group of 10 girls and had a absolute blast. The instructor let us do whatever we wanted, and we did some fun things after learning how to go down ;)

We had a lot of fun during the sandboarding. Taylor was the perfect teacher, she is very kind and also told us some great facts about the country. Also it’s a nice stop on the garden route. The beach here is amazing and there is a save parking area and a good restaurant nearby. No reason to skip this!!

Bad instructor, and the Boards seemed old and damage, so we couldnt really board down the very small slope. not worth the money at all

Terrible sorry you had a bad experience, We have replaced the instructor and they never should have given you a old board as we have plenty of good boards.

We would highly recommend you to do Sandboarding with Wacky Wipeouts.
We had such a great instructor who taught us very well and took a lot of photos and videos.
It was just the two of us, the weather was perfect and the view from the dunes is amazing.

What a fantastic afternoon conquering the #JBay sand dunes with Wacky Wipeouts. I soon found out that they are called #WackyWipeouts for a good reason, because I had a few wacky wipeouts of my own! After a few practice rounds we tackled the big dunes and had 2 full hours of bliss at the beach. Great value for money at any age and a fun way to spend the morning/afternoon outdoors.
