Spent one night at the national park accommodation. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very hot this time of year. All rooms fortunately had air conditioning. Don't know why one needs to pay extra for conservation fees if you're staying over though . Good hikes. The...More

Due to the lack of rain the size of the waterfall was a little bit dissapointing. Although beautiful environment, expensive national park for one day visit.

We visited the Augrabies at the end of our holiday, after being in Kruger and the Kgalagadi. This park is wonderful for its gorgeous waterfall, water scenes and rock formations. We did see some animals (gemsbok, klipspringer, dassies etc) but it's all about the magnificent...More

The road to the falls itself you will be fine as it is tarred. Even within the park you should be fine to drive the gravel roads, but do not attempt the 4x4 marked roads.

For day visitors it is 07:00-18:00. The falls are obviously the main attraction, but you can take a game drive on the marked paths which I always enjoy. There are a few walking routes if you want to walk but take water with... More
