This is a great place to bring your guests from Overseas. You will enjoy the rose lined lawn as a viewing point. It is an appropriate add to a visit to Franschhoek. A picnic would have been nice on the open grass area.

Not worth stopping at. Just drive by! The museum is hot and smells of mildew. There is not much to see anyway.

In the sunshine, with the spectacular mountains in the background, it is a fantastic site for the monument. The white roses around the monument were particularly good in November. The interior exhibits are a bit disappointing but still worth a short visit.

A small but charming museum about the history of Franschhoek This venue is ideal for a rainy day visit, it's small but sets out the brief history of Franschhoek and is well worth a visit while you're in Franschhoek.
