My boyfriend and I did the grey line on Saturday. I was very impressed with how the wine farms have made their services accustomed to the tram system. We managed to get in 5 farms, with 4 tastings (Haut Cabriere, Franshhoek Cellar, Moreson and Eikehof)...More

Second time on the tram and what a fun day out. This is a definite must do when in Franschhoek. Well run and lots of fun. We did the purple line this time and strongly suggest you miss the stop at Solms Delta. The Wine...More

This has to be the best way to get round a good selection of vineyards and leave the car behind. I did the orange line and stopped off at various places. Go to the gardens at babylonstoren. They are gorgeous By the end of the...More

This definitely deserves a trip and spend a full day at the tram/bus. Ticket is 240R and you get the hop on hop off. Each line has 7 wineries, but you will get enough time for 5 of them. The pick ups are once an...More

Would have picked less stops to enjoy our visits more. Don’t try to see two many winery’s as it can be a bit of a rush to see them all.

It's quite complicated to decide which route out of 5 you wish to use and then which wineries you wish to stop at and for how long. We couldn't get our first choice of tram when we tried to book the day before as it...More

So I’ll get the negatives out of the way. We did the pink route and you’ve to transfer from ticket office by minibus to the tram and then from the tram to another bus to the vineyards. Why not just do it by bus? Also,...More

My wife and I left from Franschhoek in their bus to the tram. The tram stops only at a few of the wineries on the tour - the bus gets you to the bulk of them so it's really a bus tour with a wee...More

Dear Kjhjewett, Thank you for your question. Only one colour line can be booked and joined per day. Tours are not interchangeable. Kind Regards, The Franschhoek Wine Tram Team
