What a feast was this winery visit where we booked their weekly food & wine pairing event. Chef Pieter explained in detail how he prepared his amazing food bites and Sommelier Wouter told us exactly how they came to the right pairing of the wine. An enjoyable two hour event which we think you shouldn't miss when you are in... More

Our second stop on the wine tram. A lovely place, but more commercial than Maison and bigger. We didn't eat here but the buffet restaurant was busy. Worth stopping off for.

We went to Leopards Leap where they do a very good Rotisserie lunch where you choose your salad, which is paid for by weight, and then make your selection from the rotisserie choice of chicken, lamb, roast pork belly and beef. I chose the pork belly with crackling and it was beautifully cooked, accompanied by Leopard’s Leap wine, a popular... More

Although we have visited Franschhoek many times we have never quite made it to the Leopard's Leap wine farm despite enjoying their wines. As part of the mystery weekend, we decided to make this our second stop (and our last it turned out). The atmosphere is light, bright and airy. The staff are friendly right from those who greet you... More

Conveniently situated just outside Franschhoek. Much more than a place to taste great wines with a splendid restaurant, tasting bar and children's play area. Different tastings depending on taste and depth of your pocket. Taste assistants both knowledgable and keen. One of the better wineries in Franschhoek.

Nice place ! Good wine. They even do cooking class. The desert wine is the best. They also have a gift shop. Interesting art work.

We went here in December with the Wine Tram but the restaurant was closed, so we never went in. Big mistake! We went the weekend and I was blown away! Experience was really good. First of all, the venue is so modern and one does not know where to go first, it all looks sssssssssssssso good. I went to the... More

My experience at Leopard's Leap was great! The building on the inside is done in a modern fashion with every corner and staff member "shouting": We know what we're about! Everyone was friendly, everything was so clean and the wines were amazing! The taste itself was presented in such an interesting, professional and engaging manner. Leopard's Leap is a must... More

Great food and atmosphere, buffet style does not skimp of quality and freshness. The wines are also great, and there is a vast green lawn for children to gambol on!
