Having moved recently to South Africa, I was curious about the Huguenot history here. The museum was very helpful! The information was plentiful, and most of it was presented in English as well as French and Afrikaans. Great period furniture as well. I'd recommend it.

This very interesting museum needs time to be enjoyed. Allow at least an hour as it cannot be rushed. Well worth it and very useful.

Its cheap to get in and there is enough info to just about justify the charge. lots of no touch signs bit a bit more effort on curating the objects and definitions would help

It was very interesting to see our heritage once again and to be reminded about how hard the French Huguenot's worked to get the beautiful vineyards up and running. The gardens surrounding the museum are beautfilu.

This is an excellent little museum in a beautiful setting. It very effectively tells the story of the first Hugenot settlers in the Cape with records of the passengers and the ships they traveled on. This was a family roots trip and it was thrilling...More

HI TB, yes, there actually is a little restaurant just next to it. Small and quaint.
