I have been fortunate enough to be a regular visitor at Monkey Town for the past few years, and I simply can not rate Monkey Town highly enough! If you're an animal lover by any means, then this is by far the best place to visit in the Western Cape area. The main attraction would be the feeding of the... More

We had so much fun at Monkey town. To see all the different kind of monkeys, my son enjoyed it so much. The best was the chimps. We arrived on feeding time so it was awesome to see how they ate in their own habitat.

We had my son's birthday party at Monkey Town. The facilities are tired and are in need of upgrading. The kids enjoyed the outing.

Friendly staff at the front but the animals are in cages and don't appear to be well kept. Warning at the chimpanzee section the animals are above you and are defecating and urinating on you as you pass under them. Our 5 yo became hysterical as the animals chase you as you move away. All in all not a child... More

We went to this place today on a quiet time of the year and the weather not so nice but this place definitely put the sunshine in our day, we were greated by a lovely man with great humor and knowledge of the primates, we were treated like royalty and had a great time with the interaction, the monkeys are... Was a nice experience and the education happening is amazing but I am always so sorry for the poor animals kept in captivity. Here they are seemingly happy and well looked after, and the people are in the cage, with animal (almost) free.

I found tour guide to be knowledgeable and accommodating. He made the learning experience interesting and fun. Some of the animals have been rescued and have interesting stories that we can learn from. We interacted with the small monkeys and were able to feed them. I definitely recommend this as it was great fun for all and a fantastic experience.

Visited this site during feeding time (approx 12). Forest feeding following by the chimp feeding. Then we did the interactive but where tiny monkeys climb on your arms and head. Kids loved it
