Let me set one things straight. I hate writing a bad review on my favourite wine farm in Helderberg, but in reaction to yesterday i simply have no choice. Being regular visitors to the pristine estate we know what service they normally show us, yet...More

From the moment I entered the estate, with it's beautiful stream and gardens along the entrance way, to the moment I left (much later that afternoon), I was enthralled with the stunning gardens, the facilities and the service. Lourensford Estate caters for everyone, with an...More

I just love that place; the wines, the MCC, the beautiful garden, the market, the people, the relaxed atmosphere

We first visited the coffee shop. What a fantastic experience! Very knowledgeable staff and great coffee beans and utensils that we bought! Thereafter we visited the market which was a great experience. The wine tasting after that was excellent! We will always go back!

Beautiful scenery! Great spot to get away from the urban rush and maybe even do some people watching. The market's live music adds some good vibes to the atmosphere. If you feel like taking a stroll while drinking some hot chocolate - visit the Market!...More

We visited yesterday. The gardens were breathtaking. We bought something to eat from the market and sat under the trees for about 2 hours. It was so peaceful. The gardens are lovely and well maintained. We will be back for sure.

Immaculately maintained gardens greet one as one enters this lovely wine estate. There is a coffee shop and a restaurant, which both look very inviting and were well patronised. We were in a hurry and enjoyed a quick wine tasting in an attractive venue. In...More

The highlight of this wine estate is the architecture of this estate. IT is also situated in a beautiful part of the Cape. IT has several restaurants.

The wine and chocolate tasting is fantastic. We had a very helpful lady who explained how the two go together and they really did! A nice estate too.

The estate doesn't have a showing of wine making. Everything was below expectation. In general, the South African Vinyards are not worth visiting.

Lourensford is well worth a visit. There are several attractions from a wine tasting room to a craft beer room housing cars of interest. Millhouse is great for pizza and family meals. The markets in summer are a great local attraction. An art gallery, chocolatier,...More
