My wife and I decided to do the 1 Day scooter tour of the island on the 125cc Scooters. Our guide on the day was a lovely German bloke by the name of Alba. Given the fact that I have not ridden a scooter, motorcycle or any other motorised 2 wheel machine I was a little hesitant, especially given the chaos that are Bali roads.
I have to say that it was one of the best experiences of both my wife's and my life. Despite the aforementioned chaos, not once did we feel unsafe or in danger. This is primarily due to Alba's expert guidance. He showed us the safe way to navigate the traffic all the way out to the rice paddies and secluded villages. The scenery was spectacular. Very easy to lose your focus from the ride to the surroundings.
It rained quite heavily when we went but this only added to the experience, especially when it comes to the gorgeous waterfall we managed to make our way down to. We even managed to take the plunge in the clear waters.
We would recommend this ride to anyone. Even families with older kids who don't mind doubling. Very safe and A once in a lifetime experience. Thanks to Kris and Alba for making this happen

Real professional friendly shop. The bikes were kept in perfect condition. Rented one of their versys 250s rode 2up surprisingly comfortable even for the passenger. They recommended not to take the panniers and I’m glad I listened to them traffic here is tight. If you’re coming to Bali and you know how to ride highly recommend renting a motorbike it’s the best way to get around the island. You get around twice as fast as you would in a taxi or car.

I rented the new Honda 250 from these guys and road it from Bali to Yogyakarta. The bike was in excellent condition and ran great. I needed to get to Yogyakarta in three days so I wasn’t able to visit the volcanos or site see but man, what a wild adventure it was. I rode through a storm that lasted all day. Over one mountain all the power lines were down and monkeys; alive and dead were all over the road. It was trippy. I’d ridden for over eight hours that day in the storm and was exhausted. Part of me wondered is this really happening.... are these really monkeys.....I needed to find a hotel. If the bike hadn’t been so well maintained the fuel lines would have allowed the storm to effect its performance. But it ran great the entire ride.
Next time I’m going to go in one of their groups though because I’d love to do some off road with them. So yes, I’d recommend these guys big time.
Ride on the left was my mantra. Especially coming out of turns.
Thanks for the adventure. I’ve ridden bikes since I was a kid. The country, NYC and LA. Never have I had such a thrill as ridding in Indonseia.

Can't recommend these guys highly enough. I rode from Bali - Lombok - Sumbawa - Flores over 2 weeks. Chris and the team were so helpful, pulling out maps, showing me the best routes, good accommodation, highlighting points of interest I would never have known/found on Google. I wasn't sure how long it would take (or how long I could endure) but they made it really easy - I just let them know along the way if I wanted to use the one way service, where I could drop the bike in Labuan Bajo and fly back (they also have this for Lombok and Java I think). I ended up taking that, and it was really easy, and a very reasonable price considering someones has to fly there and drive it all the way back. They always reply on WhatsApp really quickly, not that I needed much support - the bike was solid. The trip was amazing, Flores especially, wonderful scenery and people. Really was the highlight of my time in Indonesia, and I can't wait to come back and drive east! (Sorry for the slow review guys).

We have booked a one way trip from Yogyakarta to Denpasar. It took some e-mail communications with Chris (owner of the company) to arrange everything. When it was arranged everything was perfectly organized.
We have picked up the bike at Laura's guesthouse in Yogya (a partner of the company) where we have settled the remaining amounts. Laura was helpful with advising with preparing the bike and advising on the route.
The bike itself (Honda CBR150) was in perfect conditions with all necessary gadgets for such a long trip (phone holder and charger, side bags and bracket to store big bags at the back). If finances allow I recommend taking a 225CC bike if you travel with someone at the back as sometimes we had to go on first gear for a while.
The trip itself was amazing as you can go where you want and when you want without any schedules. I will not in the details of that as everyone can plan hi own journey.
All in all I totally recommend Motor Adventure Bali and the trip itself. If you have some experience in driving motorbike it shouldn't be too difficult to adjust to local driving.

If you only have a short space of time in Bali then this trip is perfect! We were a family (ranging from 25-55years old) doing a quick holiday and thus only had 2 days in seminyak. This trip was ideal. It allowed us to drive all over bali seeing all the wonderful sites and get out of the hustle and bustle of the main areas. Even though it poured with rain we all had an amazing time. If anything it may have added to the experience. We even had two complete motorbike beginners in the family who go on absolutely fine due to the guides being extremely helpful and patient.
A little disclaimer though - we are a very thrill seeking family so this tour may not be for everyone. I say this because the day is quite intense. Its a full 9-10 hour day riding, some of which is completely off road which on a moped in the rain can be quite scary and dangerous.
Overall though I would definitely recommend this to people visiting for a short period

Had a great experience hiring a klx250 to explore bali.
Well maintained bike, great accessories fitted for touring around bali. The phone holder was great for maps.
Had a ball exploring the west coast and through the highlands. No issues with the bike at all.
Great customer support, easy to deal with payments and free pick up and delivery of the bike from my base villa.
Very happy customer looking forward to returning.
Note for potential customers- if you are not carrying a pillion passenger I would recommend the 150cc over the 250 for ridding in bali.

Excellent experience with Motor Adventure Bali. I rented for 23 days and drove from Denpasar, Bali to Moni (Kelimutu), Flores and back. My Honda CB150R was in top notch condition and very obviously well maintained ... and well worth the price. Aside from a minor clutch adjustment (normal wear and tear), the bike was trouble free for the entire 3000km trip. This place is run by bikers, for bikers. The owner and staff were friendly and extremely helpful with route planning and advice. Because of the great service and reliable bike, with luggage rack, I never had to worry about breakdowns 1000km's away from Bali. If I decide to return to Indonesia I will rent from them again.

I rented a bike oneway from Labuan to Maumere. Everything was good organised, friendly staff, good contact and the bike was good maintained. I would recommend renting at this company!

We deliver our bikes in this area without any extra cost.
We have Scoopy, and Vario scooters, but sorry no Vespas.

Generally you need a international driving license in indonesia.
You can get them in your home country from your responsible driving licence office.
This licence is 3 years valid and you can use it in a lot of countries.
Otherwise we can assist you to get an official local indonesian driving licence, valid for four weeks. (renewable)
To rent a scooter is the standard license sufficient. For Motorcycles 250cc and bigger you need the licence class A.
