We were lucky enough to have a guide with us who was able to arrange entry to the mosque and tell us about its history. A beautiful place.

The king mosque, teqe and sort of caravanserai where the dervishes stayed, for part of the medieval city of Berat. Except of the last, they can be easily visited. The guide doesn´t speak English, but tries really hard to explain, and with my Spanish, it...More

A beautiful building with a very welcoming caretaker who told us part of the history. She mostly spoke Italian but we understood enough to take it in. You are allowed to take photos and stay as long as you like.
