I have been to Cobo winery twice and it is definitely NOT WORTH a visit. The members of the staff are not knowledgeable, nor organised and they are very blurry when it comes to the prices.. The business lacks structure and does not offer proper...More

Arguably overpriced compared to many of the experiences in Albania, however it's still worth a visit. The owner gave us a short tour which I felt could have been a little better, however he did also show us some of his recent experiments with new...More

An interesting tour around the winery, Albanian wine tasting and a very welcoming owner. If you are around Berat area I'd recommend visiting Cobo Winery.

Larger portions than for a tasting session to really experience the wines. 2 whites, 2 reds & 2 raki for €14 with bread, cheese & olives over 2 hours with interesting conversation made for a great visit.

We had a driver, but my recollection is that it is a ways out of town. I think you will have to drive. Sorry about my vagueness.

No you can't. I asked the same question. The reason is because this is a relatively small husband and wife business and they are unable to produce in large enough quantities for export.
