I've been a rider for many years, so one of my first concerns at a tourism/trail riding place is the condition of the horses. These are all happy and healthy! They are also very well-behaved. I like that they use hackamore "bits" on them, that...More

Best way to see the high desert area around Cerrillos, NM is from the back of a horse, and Broken Saddle gets you there, safely. Unique access to areas the general public doesn’t go, and marvelous views of all the surrounding mountains. Spectacular and loads...More

The trails are fairly smooth. So for a newbie rider, I feel it will be enjoyable. There is a small incline in terrain, but again, fairly smooth~
