The Trujillo's were very gracious hosts and di a great job showing their weaving skills. There were many wonderful displays of their artist work and works of others in the area. There was also a great selection of high quality pieces for purchase as well.

We were going by bus on the high road from Taos to Santa Fe. We stopped Centinela Traditional Arts. The art of traditional New Mexico weaver was explained by a master weaver. So many beautiful weaved items.

This is a shop selling beautiful weavings in a family-owned business. Weavers are on site and we found them pleasant and responsive to questions. Beautiful selection of goods.

Beautiful work, but the weaver crossed the line from unwelcoming to rude. What we did see was very nice, and we were prepared to buy, but she was not interested in showing us anything, or selling. No greeting, no help. My companion was told not...More

Irvin und Lisa Trujillo are most accomplished weavers with impressive resumes. Quality and design are superb, and they make visitors most welcome to their workshop/store. They also sell products of some two dozen artisan weavers from the Chimayo area. Superb website (chimayoweavers.com) makes you want...More
