I enjoyed tasting certain wines. Tasting is complementary. I would go back but I wish the pourer was a little more knowledgeable about the wines. This was my favorite wine of the three I visited. Grapes are local and are from NM.

We stopped on the way back from Santa Fe. SO glad as the wine was good. The person serving was knowledgeable. This winery has won many awards for some of there wines. We bought the port and an everyday drinking wine. I would stop again.

Very cool visit and the tasting was nice. They have some I like, and some not so much. But that is why you taste. Did buy some.

We spontaneously stopped at this winery en route to Taos. The gal in the tasting room was very professional, unpretentious and kind. She gave our son a good education about wine and we were grateful. We came away with an excellent bottle that we shared...More

This place has all the potential in the world to be something really really special. Instead, they were rude and apparently bothered that we had stopped in for a tasting and it disrupted her time on the comuter, even though we ended up buying several...More

loved the wine and the hostess. Sweet girl with lots of helpful information. Both of us felt the wine here was superb. Closest to the robust California wine that we like. We both felt the wines at the place on the highway tasted watered down....More

From the early 1990s through about 2005, we used to make a trip to Taos at least once a year, and we always visited the La Chiripada tasting room which at that time was located on the plaza. The room was managed by a French...More

Love this out-of-the-way little winery on the High Road to Taos! I've been stopping and buying here for many years. It's charming! Wine tasting--usually by owners--is nice. Wines, sold only here and in a small shop in Taos, are extraordinary. The port is exceptional. Well...More

This place we found on our way home to Santa Fe. What a wonderful winery. They had excellent wines and the person pouring was so friendly. What a nice stop that was.

Yes the winery will be open. It is a very small winery but its worth the stop. The people who run the place are super friendly and their wines are wonderful. Enjoy
