The visitor's center and Navajo Code Talker Museum are in the same location. This is an amazing part of our country's history and perhaps not given the respect and admiration it deserves. Despite our history of questionable to poor treatment of Native Americans, these brave...More

Went to Gallup because of the history and we were particularly interested in the code talkers. Shame on this place for not making more of these heroes and the minimalist part you give them in your museum.

Very up to date museum. Clean, modern. And a very good display of Navajo history and culture. They were upgrading one section, so only saw about ½ of it.

We have known about the Code Talkers for many years, but this was a chance for a "close up look". If it had not been for this group of brave men WWII would have not possibly turned out as it did. Good job to all...More

My husband is a big WWII buff so this was definitely on his list of things to see while we were in the area. It was very interesting to read all the information they have. We both wished they would have done a bit better...More

Enjoyed the visit. Was awed that the code talkers kept the secret many years and could not tell anyone about their huge contribution to the war effort. These brave men risked life and limb and were not able to say anything.

Like other reviewers, we tried to visit this small museum but they were holding a meeting in the same room. Seems like Gallup could do more to honor these unique code talkers.

Not to big ,but very interesting, about the Code Talkers and the history they made. Worth seeing and learning about the real history of the Code Talkers.

Tried to go see it, but apparently it doubles as a meeting room inside the visitor center and that room is occupied for meetings for the two days we will be here.

I'm afraid I don't know. We were there on an ordinary day and enjoyed the museum and the Native American at the entrance who shared so much history with us. But there were no booths.
