Great museum it starts out with explaining all about bees everything you always wondered and now you will know. I took a guided tour around the outside took a lot of pictures. Very inexpensive to come here and spend a lot of hours. Every room with something different lot of information they must see.

The NM Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum is absolutely fantastic with its multiple and varied exhibits in addition to the small shuttle that takes you around to the barn and other outbuildings to see the various livestock. We especially enjoyed the Honey Bee exhibit (new) and the Elephant Butte Reservoir exhibit (also new). The admission price is amazingly low ($5 regular... More

Our kids are 14, 9 and 4 and we all had a great time! We all learned so much from the different areas. So much to watch the kids actually interact and learn something about our history as well as the history of NM.

There are always new and revolving exhibits about agriculture, quilting, and early days of NM. If you don't have much time to spend there, just don't miss the wonderful exhibit of cowboy drawings by Robert Shufelt, (Shufly). They are black and white drawings and are so intricate you think they are photographs. The Cowboy days held one weekend in the spring... More

I walked through the galleries every chance I got during breaks in a recent business conference. It was a chance to learn about the West real people lived and worked in. The livestock in the outdoor section should be a special hit with kids.

Great for the family and great for an education on Farming and Ranching in New Mexico, past and present. From Blacksmithing to implements, livestock to children's area. It is one of the Best Museums in New Mexico.

My husband and I are not outdoorsy people, as a matter of fact, while I appreciate interior design I'm not the "let's head down to the art gallery" type. However, this was absolutely impressive! We both enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to both locals and visitors.

Working at one of the county's premier living history museums I am always a little critical of other museums. This one is wonderful. The staff we encountered were so friendly and willing to take time to talk to us. We arrived just minutes before a behind the scenes livestock tour. The tour guide, Virginia, was a WEALTH of knowledge and... More

A fantastic place to see first hand how farmers and ranchers work in the Southwest and more specifically, New Mexico. Staff on hand to give first-hand, hands on experience with farm and ranch animals. Also, a great array of farm equipment.
