We recently attended two concerts at this beautiful old building, and were really impressed. Built in 1926 and opening with a silent movie, it's been in nearly continuous operation ever since. Though it was recently renovated in 2005, it's definitely kept its historic charm. Now operated by the Dona Ana Arts Council, it's a fantastic center for performing arts. Located... More

Certainly wonderful that it is now air conditioned, as before it was unbearable. However, the system installed is so noisy, it destroys the mood of any performance. Really sad. It could be such a wonderful venue...intimate, love restored old theatre.

Went to a comedy show here, we had balcony seats, but the theater is small so it was perfect. It is a more intimate setting.

A well restored theatre with a good variety of performers. My favorite is the Missoula Childrens Theatre every July. The children give amazing performances with 5 days rehersals under the direction of very talented people from the company.

A real treasure on our Main St in Downtown Las Cruces. The Dona Ana Arts Council keep this place active with great FUN events. So affordable and makes you want to spend time on Main St in downtown Las Cruces. Always check out what is going on monthly.

Historic more than outstanding venue. Average sound, fair seats and small size. Most venues do not have reserved seats which is a negative as well.

Lots of events are held here, mostly requiring an entry fee. We went to the film about the survivors of the Bataan Death March, who then had to go onto the Hell Ships. It was very moving. The film maker and narrator were both there to answer questions. A few family members of the very few survivors of the whole... More

Came to a Santa Fe Opera apprentice performance. They saw without mikes and with only a piano. Sound was fantastic.
