We needed to find out more about the city and although some of the artefacts we very interesting overall it was a little boring after some museums we’ve visited on this trip

Great museum but it seems to have forgotten about the Rough Riders and had way more other stuff that didn't even pertain. Sad that it changed.

This was a really neat little museum. It is attached to a still functioning courthouse. There really wasn't much in there but it did have some cool stuff.

We actually travelled to Las Vegas NM to see this museum and the Rough Rider display. It was worth it to see. I also purchased a biography about Captain Maximiliano Luna. I knew quite a bit about him, but this added a great deal more...More

This museum has wonderful exhibits and information about the very colorful history of Las Vegas New Mexico. The docent provided additional interesting facts and answered questions knowledgeably.
