This is a nice easy trail next to the River. It will help you hiking along it the first day you get up to this altitude if you are like me and live alomst at Sea Level. I only wish the trail was longer.

We did not walk the entire trail. What we did walk was interesting. A few places that give easy access to the actual river, including a spot with benches and picnic tables.

I love the sound of running water. It makes for a peaceful walk. The path takes you beside the water. There are places you can fish. If you are a brave souls, you can take a dip in the cool water.

We had a wonderful experience on this hike! We went with our kids, dog and 2 year old grandson who was packed on his dad's back in a hiking backpack! We saw some awesome deer and totally enjoyed the fall colors. What a great time!

There are two sides to this walk. One is concrete sidewalk and goes along the river. There were people fishing in the river and I came across some ducks that weren't scared of me. The other side is a little more challenging with some ups...More

We walked along this trail each evening while staying in Red River. It is paved along the side of the river closest to town and more of a trail along the side closest to the mountain. Still, both sides are an easy walk. We loved...More
