We visited Enchanted Forest right before the new year with two adults and three teenagers. It is easy to get to, close to cosy Red River, and right in the middle (2018-2019) of an AWESOME snowy winter. The owners and instructors are as helpful and...More

This is a great place for snowshoeing. We saw a big buck in the woods. We had some mountain lion tracks. Or something large with the big paws, that was tracking us. As we were leaving, we backtracked and we noticed these tracks. This is...More

Sadly, the area hasn't received much snow this winter, but we drove out from Red River anyway. We parked near the office, and hiked into the forest. The trails are beautiful and the views are nice. I'm sure it would be an enchanting place to...More

This was our first time cross country skiing, and while the terrain was a little tough for some of us, but everyone had a great time. The scenery is beautiful and the staff is friendly.

I've been here for cross country skiing and mountain biking. The vibe during the winter is a lot of fun, the geeky, tight-clothes-wearing nordic crowd with a lot of enthusiasm for playing in the snow. The day I biked here there was hardly anyone here...More

We skied several hours here. We loved the terrain. It was mostly gradual however there were plenty of uphills to get warmed up and several downhill stretches to get some speed. We were there days before Christmas and it was not that crowded especially compared...More

There's a lot of activities to do in this area. You can go for snowmobile, sledging, tubing. Enchanted ski area is also big as well, and they are not expensive as well.
