Small, but well done.

Only museum that I have ever been to at an airport. Small facility, but well appointed. Lots of aviation related exhibits. Friendly staff. Few souvenirs.

Disappointed. Was only 2 small rooms of interest. Didn't have much to offer. Not your typical museum.

This is a tiny museum, crammed into a few rooms inside the airport terminal for now. But they are planning to expand into downtown. Our son is a WW2 buff, and he really enjoyed the displays and talking to the gentleman who was staffing the desk there. There were some very interesting artifacts on display, and it was especially interesting... More

Inside the Airport Terminal--hard to find if you don't know that! Interest WWII memorabilia. My husband loved the info on old planes. The lady in the museum was friendly and knowledgeable. A worthwhile visit, won't take much of your time. no fee, just a donation.

My dad manned the Roswell missile sites and the B52s during the cold war of the 60's. We were in town for a missile command reunion. I never really knew much about what happened since I was a kid in the 60's when we were stationed at Roswell and we left when the base closed down. This small museum, located... More

This is in the airport terminal and with limited space it's very informative and free but please make a donation in hopes it will help them get a bigger place as I was informed they have a lot of artifacts in storage.

The museum is located a little out of town at the Roswell Airport formerly Walker Air Force Base and home of the 579th Strategic Missile Squadron. Although a small museum it is very informative and the volunteers staffing the it are great. The father of the woman staffing the museum on our visit served in the Air Force and was... More

I was visiting Roswell last week and visited the Walker Aviation Museum - a Great Local Museum. This museum is in the Roswell airport so look inside the main building. Several excellent exhibits including the one on "Dave's Dream" the backup B-29 bomber to the Enola Gay which dropped the first atomic bomb. Take a look!

This is a great little museum about the history of the base that is now home to the Roswell Airport. If you catch it when it's open, there is some great history in there.

Nice display of Air Force memorabilia from the Walker Air Force base. Friendly and helpful veteran staff. Very meaningful. Gotta look inside the terminal because the signage stops directing you outside.
