Lots of shops to visit

Walking tour of many artistic shops with a smattering of outdoor recreational shops. Many one of selections.

But, it is always very active and there are some very nice shops around the Taos Plaza. If in Taos you really can't miss it, so take a few minutes to stroll around.

I find the Plaza a bit too tourist oriented while the streets around it , with galleries etc more interesting.

Loved the square. Lots of unique shops. Beautiful, clean and several historic landmarks. Bent street was fun too.

An old plaza/town square now populated with any and all manner of shops to ply the tourist trade, not unlike the same the world over, except this one is in Taos.

There was a band, called "The Damn Band," they were great! People were in a festive mood. Fireworks, fun and festivities! The Plaza is fun any time. It is the true hub of Taos!

The center of Old Town, this is a great place to people watch. There are large shading trees when it's hot. In the colder months, the sun shines nicely and feels great.

You have to walk up stairs it's like burger joint environment TVs, Bar top and tables. I order large bowl ofgreen chili stew soup very flavorable. Family order burgers has thick meat cooked perfect. For family of 4 ticket for $48 with dessert. Not to shabby.

My son and I were in the Plaza area several times during our three days in Taos over Christmas. I love Christmas lights. I love music. I go bonkers over lights coordinated with music at Christmas. Spending time in the Plaza at night, soaking in the music and lights and unique architecture around the Plaza was one of my favorite... More
