My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this museum. The wood carvings were our favorite part of the museum. The art was wonderful too, but it amazed us that one man was able to carve so much wood in his lifetime - huge, elaborate pieces of...More

This is a neat museum featuring Fechin's work but even better because it is in his house. There is amazing woodwork to see as well as artwork. His studio is also very interesting. Be sure to learn the history of the house as his daughter...More

Loved this museum. Fechin's wood carvings of doors, furniture , etc through out the house are captivating. We happened to run into a docent who offered us a free tour, hearing the stories she shared enhanced the experience. Well worth a visit and walkable in...More

A visit to this museum is worth the trouble to see the intricate craftsmanship used by the resident artist to build his home. There's many art pieces of his, as well as, other Taos artists. Nice grounds.

Really enjoyable. The house is remarkable, kitchen astounding. We had actually visited 25 years ago and were glad to see how it has been preserved. Well worth the visit.

We actually took a long road trip to get there. Fechin definitely has a very distinct style as an artist and his life story is worth checking out. And, of course, the house is beautiful and full of interesting details. Special thanks to the staff...More

Also known as the Fenchin House, this is a beautiful property. The museum is housed in the historic home. Exhibits vary, and are usually from the Taos artists. Very nice.

It’s housed in the home of one of the founders of the Taos art community . The adobe house contains furniture built by the artist as well as his art and other Taos artists. The proverbial gift shop

$10. There is a discount for folks 65 and older, $8 I think. Definitely worth the cost.
