This is a nice museum with a lot of artifacts to show the history of this area. Limited captions on things. So you could spend a leisure hour or two just enjoying if you like museums or you are a history buff.

It's very cute and had a ton of things to see. It's a little older and not fancy, but it was all very interesting.

Great museum for those of us who like to look at displays but get tired of reading detailed descriptions. There was lots to see and enjoy but not too many written explanations. I especially liked all the Mimbres pottery and the log cabin display.

When you first enter the museum, it's easy to under-estimate the time it will take to see everything. The Native American displays alone are good for an hour.

At this museum you will learn about how the little town of Hot Springs became Truth or Consequences. There are wonderful photos and throw back materials to read. The museum also has an amazing collection of Native American pottery, memorabilia and history of the local Indian culture. You can find interesting things for purchase in their gift store. Sometimes it's the smaller museums which hold your interest than the big ones! Really well worth a visit to see the way it is presented You can easily spend hours reading history both family and country here! Great book and interesting gift shop Worth a drive here

a great stop with nice exhibits. I am sure many folks would simply pass on by and not git TorC the time of day as it is a bit off the road and does not meet some ideas of a tourist stop. Please stop and enjoy

Take the time to visit this "one of its kind" museum if you are in T or C. It's small, but so much history is in there that, even after three visits, I keep going back!

Lots of artifacts but it would be nice if the layout was in some chronilogical order. Its spread out over a number of rooms with no specific route to take. Generally interesting but it could be a lot better laid out. If you have an hour to kill it is worth a visit.

We had a great time exploring the museum and learning about the local history and surrounding area. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the exhibits and directed us to things we'd missed originally walking through.
