We stayed for at least an hour. Nice picnic area that we had lunch at. Museum had a lot of 66 stuff to see like most 66 museums. The enlarged photographs were amazing. Cars were nice too.

A free museum with lots of memorabilia to see about the mother road, including cars! It was small but packed with things to see.

We stopped here heading out West. We have been trying to hit as many Route 66 sites as we can along the way. This one is free, but accepts donations. Lots of old cars and pictures. Great video presentation to sit and listen to. If...More

The Museum recently acquired and restored the old Tucumcari Motel sign(2 sided) and had it hung inside the museum and it is beautiful. It is now the center piece and WOW factor for the Museum. The Museum also has many new exhibits and vehicles on...More

The Route 66 Museum is in the Convention Center, and worth a quick stop in for a small donation. Some cars, other displays of the New Mexico towns along the route, and a pretty good video running on a loop. All in one room, it...More

We visited on Saturday, Sept 30, 2017. It was hard to find but was worth the effort. Being 62 and 69 year old baby boomers, this place really brought back the memories of the 1950s and 1960s era. Loved the older cars and other memorabilia...More

From my memory, it would seem that it would pose no problem, however, calling the museum would provide you with the best answer.
