The view from the top is nice, but it takes a while to get there. This hike is incredibly steep and I would highly recommend stretching before hand. This is not a hike for people thatre it off shape :)

I walked there. It was a nice walk through town on Main street which takes you to Beacon Falls. Then you wind your way through some neighborhoods a bit and get to the entrance. I would say it's a 15-20 minute walk from the train station. In my opinion, not bad at all. Especially if you're about to go to that massive hike! The walk to the entrance is nothing!
