Campground was very crowded, but surprisingly quiet. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the restrooms and bathhouses could have used more attention. We will be returning!

Lake Erie State Park is on Route 5 that runs along Lake Erie in N.Y. I stop here because it's a scenic area on the water and offers some nice views. I've never camped or stayed here but I always stop when driving through instead...More

There are wooded hiking trails to take. Nice playgrounds for kids. Park roads mostly flat for easy biking. Saw rabbits, squirrels, owl, and many birds.

The park does not have a beach where you can swim, nor are the hiking trails spectacular. The only attraction is the gorgeous sunset, which you can also catch from other parts of Lake Erie.

This is a smaller park with camping, picnics, cabins, showers, main lodge, etc. Very clean and nicely kept. The cabins are great and located right by the lake. Call in reservations.

Campground overlooking Lake Erie. Beautiful views, excellent park! Sites are nice sizes, including 10 cabin rentals. Close to wine tasting and marina's. Also close to Chautauqua Institute.

Yes but swimming only at designated times. Beach area looks rocky. Not a sandy beach like Presque Isle in PA
