Great park for BBQs, exercising, biking, long boarding, hiking, etc. Has free parking and track/soccer field, playgrounds, etc. Bathrooms a little yucky but to be expected at a park. Lots of water fountains, and a water front. We had a lovely barbeque with the local albino community and it's been a great space for such event. Loved it to bits!

There is so much to do here. I have walked the track and watched my children play ball here. We have spent countless hours in the children's playground. We have walked the park to admire the trees. My children have ridden their bikes and skates on the designated pathways. I have attended many a birthday party here as well.

Used to live in the area. Pelham Bay Park is really just a large city park. There are ball fields and paths to walk around on. Great place for family day together. There are a few interesting statues but that is pretty much it. Great place to have a picnic or just to get out in the sun and play... More

Relly nice place to have a cookout, BUT you have to get there early so that you or some one can hold a spot. Nice and close to transportation. We had a cookout there once and it was literally right next to the bus stop so all our guest got off the bus and came to us!!

Visited the park with the kids for a day out. First time there we just brought a picnic lunch and some chairs and blanket. There was a nice playground, barbecuing and bicycling allowed. Seamed peaceful. We plan to return.

Safe, friendly environment. The bathrooms were relatively clean and accessible. You may have to hike if your group is setup away from the parking lot. They can definitely use more parking or relax the rules for parking on the street, on the weekends.

The Park is great for walks. From the middle of the north end of the parking lot of Ocean Beach you find the trail. It trails the bay and shore. In the afternoon of a weekday I met less than 10 people during my 2 mile walk. Couldn't find a suitable map or guide of trail, but using the app... More

Alot of families having picnics on the Weekends! Get there early if your going to have a large gathering! Street parking available, restrooms limited, wheelchair accessible. #6 train, small distance from the park. They have a large baseball field. Walking track and play ground.
