We stumbled on this park looking for a way to spend an afternoon. We absolutely loved it. The water is very shallow and great with young kids. View is beautiful with moored boats all around you. Water is very cold though.

Love the boat houses, the hot dog vendor as well as the vegan deli. And my puppy loves to jump in the lake!

The park is in real good condition with a lot of places to picnic or grill out. I enjoy watching the dogs at the small boat launch and seeing the wind surfers.

When I was achild, we used to pile a couple families into a station wagon (or two) and come here to swim and beat the summer heat. Now, you can't swim for free without a wristband (which native Canadaiuguans have). Still ,it's a pleasant lakeside...More

We are kind of missing the appeal of Canandaigua... This is a nice, lakefront park on the north end of the lake. We stopped for a picnic at one of the many provided tables and it was enjoyable. There were folks with dogs playing on...More

Yes, on a leash. There is also a small beach area to the East side of the park where pets can swim. Get there early in the morning as it can get busy.

Yes, There are a few available. Make sure to look at them on a map first. Some of them at the East side of the park are very close to the road.
